Happy with these lamps. I had chosen two lamps for $200 each but thought to try these very inexpensive lamps first. I wanted a solid lamp, not open iron work, because I hate dust accumulation, but I'm glad I bought these. Rather than paying $400, I'm happy with the look, function, and quality of these two for $79 lamps. They were well packaged (not withstanding some errant micro styrofoam beads) and relatively easy to assemble (the socket spins a bit until fully assembled when it tightens down well). They are stable and sturdy, not flimsy. They look just fine on the night stands — not cheap, and are a good height — not too small or too large. The shade casts a warm, pleasing light that is still bright enough. And by saving $320 purchasing these lamps instead of my first choice, I bought new shelves for the same room! ?
