This is arguably one of the worst flat pack pieces I've assembled. A big part of the issues stem from the packaging. We opened it up and one of the screw packs had popped (the plastic packaging they use is stiff/thin so the tiniest amount of jostling will rip a hole in it). This meant that there were screw scratches throughout the surfaces. We continued unpacking to find one of the boards had a large crack in it and several more had chips.Assembly is not easy and the instructions are printed at 50% size so half the drawings aren't discernable. The screw holes everywhere are too wide and shallow so you're basically just trying to self tap a flat surface. You'll need to drill your own, smaller holes without poking through the other side. The back paneling requires the sides to be squared but none of the horizontal pieces actually brace it. If you try to eyeball it, it will come out leaning left/right.The black paneling does not come all the way to the edge of each board so on half the corners you'll just have a thin light brown line.Overall it feels like Ikea furniture from before they started investing in their products/r&d.
